I've Recommended Today's Suggestion In The Past And I'm Sure I'll Bring It Up In The Future Because I Want Everyone To See It

It's The Music Never Stopped, a fantastic little indie that just showed up on Netflix this month. A wonderful examination of the ever-shifting relationship between a father and son, it's based on "The Last Hippie" (the second story in renowned neurologist Oliver Sacks"An Anthropologist On Mars: Seven Paradoxical Tales" anthology), and it features the subtlest, finest J.K. Simmons' performance I've ever seen.

So, get on over to NETFLIX INSTANT and give it a go!

Henry struggles to bond with his estranged son, Gabriel, who suffers from a brain tumor that prevents him from forming new memories. With Gabriel unable to shed the beliefs and interests that caused their physical and emotional distance, Henry must learn to embrace his son's choices and try to connect with him through music.
