I like time-lapse videos.
I like massive storms.
Therefore, I like this.
Seems pretty straight-forward.
I really like the effect of playing the video without music. Very ethereal, somehow. And I really love the way the light plays through the "bursts/downpour" around the 0:14 mark.
Also, I really love this bonus weather insanity. GOSH.
A 4K time lapse of a strong thunderstorm that dropped a couple of wet microbursts. One, in particular, was captured really well in the time lapse thanks to the sun peaking out to the west. Notice how the ball of rain falls from the sky and starts expanding before hitting the ground. Once it hits the ground you can see the power of the microburst as it expands outward (similar to the ripple you would see when you drop a stone in water).
