Everything I've seen, heard, or read (and read and read) about Kubo and the Two Strings has convinced me that it's in my cinematic sweet spot. A not-entirely-uncomplicated but entirely gorgeous film, sounds like. And if I had been teetering on the brink of uncertainty? This stunning time-lapse account of the creative process that gave the film its life would surely have pushed me straight over the edge.
